Former ONE strawweight kickboxing world title challenger Zhang Peimian shrugged off his split decision loss to Rui Botelho in November 2023 at ONE Fight Night 16 when he beat Aliff Sor Dechapan in his latest outing at ONE Friday Fights 58.

Zhang picked up his fourth victory in ONE Championship when he outpointed Aliff Sor Dechapan in April 2024 inside the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

The highlights of this exciting bout between the 'Fighting Rooster' and Aliff were recently published by the promotion on social media account, with the caption:

"Lightning Quick ⚡ When Zhang Peimian and Aliff went toe-to-toe in a thrilling striking affair! @zhang_peimian"

The Chinese striking maestro used his speed and quickness to nullify his reach and height disadvantage against the Malaysian-Thai athlete. Additionally, he showcased his toughness and granite chin by absorbing Aliff's strikes like it was nothing.

Due to this, fans commended him and showed their appreciation, as users @lordvatar, @3ree6ixty, @limktg_7132, @fr3die9, and @gonzaviveros06 commented:

"He's too tough 👏 punches and kicks don't work for him 🔥🙌"
"Purple shorts offence was relentless"
"If you look closely, this match looks incredibly SIMILAR to Superlek/Takeru! 😜🔥🔥"
"Chin made of damn vibranium"

Zhang Peimian solidified his case to be the next world title challenger with victory against Aliff

This latest triumph of Zhang has positioned himself to be the next potential world title challenger for the ONE strawweight kickboxing world title and earn his second crack for the 26-pound golden belt.

The Shengli Fight Club representative previously came up short in his first attempt after he was unanimously defeated by Jonathan Di Belle in their world championship clash at ONE 162 in October 2022.

Currently, he holds an impressive record of four wins in the world's largest martial arts organization.
