Teen phenom Adrian Lee always knew he wanted to compete in MMA, inspired by his world champion brother Christian Lee, who he said was right beside him as he started picking up the multifaceted combat sport.
The 18-year-old Prodigy Training Center representative shared this bit of information of his MMA journey in an interview with ESPN Honolulu, spotlighting the big role his older brother has in his growth as a fighter.
"My brother. He's my brother and he's the double champ. So, yeah. He's been training me since birth so he's my biggest inspiration."

Lee went on to say that coupled with the support and guidance of Christian, his own desire to succeed in MMA has been doing wonders in his progress, something he wants others who are contemplating of making a career in MMA to take note of.

Adrian Lee made his ONE Championship debut back in June, winning by submission in the second round over Australian Antonio Mammarella.
Prior to joining ONE last year, he was a noted amateur wrestler and a four-time national youth MMA champion in Hawaii.

Adrian Lee returns for his second outing in ONE Championship next month in the United States, looking to build on the momentum he gained from his impressive debut in June.
"The Prodigy' will battle Colorado native Nico Cornejo in a featured lightweight MMA clash at ONE 168 in Denver on Sept. 6. It is part of the event happening at the Ball Arena and airing live and for free to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
Lee was a winner by submission over Australian opponent Antonio Mammarella in his debut outing. It is something he wants to replicate against Cornejo, who will be making his first appearance in the "Home of Martial Arts."
