Petchtanong Petchfergus wants to prove that he's no pushover by taking out Alaverdi Ramazanov at ONE Friday Fights 68.

In this latest edition of ONE's weekly events from Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on June 28, the former ONE bantamweight kickboxing king returns after recently taking out Japanese superstar Hiroki Akimoto at ONE 163.

Now, he's facing Ramazanov, another former kingpin in his division, who is known for his uncommon style and approach in fighting.

In a virtual press conference ahead of the event, he explained how this would be another challenge for him in getting the victory.

He said:

“It’s hard to predict someone like Alaverdi because he’s a very unorthodox and fast fighter. I’m going to slow him down by being as fast as him or even faster than him."

But Petchtanong found a way to victory, as he explained:

"I’m going to adapt to Alaverdi’s style and focus on both my defense and offense round by round.”

ONE Friday Fights 68 will be Petchtanong's first bout in ONE Championship after almost two years. The event is available via pay-per-view, and fans can catch it here.
