Anderson Silva has responded to Logan Paul's claim that Jake Paul will knock him out in their upcoming fight. Silva is scheduled to face Jake Paul in an eight-round catchweight (187-pound) professional boxing bout. Their fight will take place at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, on October 29th.
During the final press conference before Silva's upcoming clash with the younger Paul brother, Logan Paul put forth his prediction for the matchup. Appearing among the audience at the press conference, 'The Maverick' asserted that his brother and fellow YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul would knock 'The Spider' out. A self-admitted fan of Silva, Logan Paul said:
"Anderson, I love you."
However, Logan Paul then jibed at him by stating:

"I think Jake will knock you out."
The verbal exchange between the older Paul brother and Anderson Silva was largely cordial and lighthearted. That said, Logan Paul reiterated that his brother would stop Silva and have him "face-down, horizontal, by the end of the night."
Meanwhile, Jake Paul suggested that several of his team members advised him against fighting Silva, who's far more experienced than him in the combat sports dominion.
Alternatively, Silva alluded to Paul's wins in the boxing ring over former UFC stars such as Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley. 'The Spider' revealed that his team cautioned him against fighting Paul. He highlighted that he'll still beat 'The Problem Child' regardless. Silva stated:
"That's crazy because everybody ask me the same -- 'You sure you go to that? He's Jake Paul. You sure? He's beating a lot of guys in UFC. You take?' Yeah. I say, 'Yes. I think I'm ready for that.' You know, he's younger than me, but I'm a superhero."

Tito Ortiz gives his prediction for the Anderson Silva vs. Jake Paul fight
In his most recent professional boxing bout, former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva faced former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz. The fight transpired in September 2021 and witnessed Silva defeat Ortiz via first-round KO. Having faced Silva inside the squared circle, Ortiz recently warned the 25-year-old Paul against underestimating his 47-year-old opponent.
In an edition of the podcast Chattin Pony hosted by UFC fighter Paddy Pimblett, Tito Ortiz predicted that Anderson Silva would likely stop Jake Paul within three rounds. Ortiz acknowledged that Paul does work hard and is capable of putting up a fight, but added:
"Jake Paul thinks him being 47 years old is going to make a difference? He's gonna be in for a rude awakening. Silva takes this sport very seriously."
