Thai legend Rodtang Jitmuangnon believes Tawanchai holds two key advantages going into his highly anticipated rematch with Superbon.
On Friday, Jan. 24, Tawanchai will put his ONE featherweight Muay Thai world championship on the line for the first time in 2025 when he runs it back with the undisputed featherweight kickboxing king, Superbon, at ONE 170 inside the iconic Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
In their inaugural meeting at ONE Friday Fights 46, Tawanchai scored a unanimous decision victory to retain his title.

'The Iron Man' sees things playing out similarly the second time around, suggesting that Tawanchai's youth and power will again be the difference-maker against Superbon.
"In my opinion, these two have some differences in fighting style as Tawanchai has heavy weapons, and if they fight Tawanchai would have more advantage on these heavy strikes," Rodtang told ONE Championship. "Plus, he’s younger."
Tawanchai vs. Superbon headlines a massive ONE 170 card with three world title fights
Tawanchai vs. Superbon will be just one of three massive ONE world title tilts this Friday when the promotion heads back to The Land of Smiles for another loaded fight card.
In the co-main event of the evening, another long-awaited rematch will go down as reigning and defending ONE bantamweight MMA world titleholder Fabricio Andrade puts his belt on the line against streaking South Korean standout Kwon Won Il.
The two first met back at ONE 156 in 2022 when 'Wonder Boy' scored a vicious 62-second body kick KO against Kwon to earn his first ONE world title opportunity. Of course, Andrade went on to cash in on that opportunity, securing a fourth-round TKO against John Lineker to win the bantamweight MMA crown.
Since the loss to Andrade, Kwon has picked up a trio of wins inside the Circle, his most recent coming against Shinechagtga Zoltsetseg around this same time last year.
Also at ONE 170 is an interim ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title clash as 'The King of the North' Nico Carrillo looks to claim his first 26 pounds of gold. Standing in his way will be the 6'4" Algerian-Thai sensation Nabil Anane.
Carrillo goes into the fight with a 4-0 record inside the Circle while Anane has won his last five.
