Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai believes John Lineker has "a lot to learn" in Muay Thai.
Over the last few months, Lineker has made noise in Muay Thai following his transition from MMA. The Brazilian superstar now looks to solidify himself as a top bantamweight contender by taking out the well-experienced Kulabdam.
During his ONE Fight Night 27 interview, Kulabdam had this to say about Lineker only having two Muay Thai fights in ONE Championship:
"For him to cross over from MMA to Muay Thai, I personally think he still has a lot to learn. Muay Thai has punches, kicks, knees, and elbows. He only has punches, truly living up to his nickname, ‘Hand of stone.’"

Kulabdam vs. Lineker will be featured in the ONE Fight Night 27 co-main event on Friday, Jan. 10. In the main event, Tang Kai looks to retain his featherweight MMA world title against Akbar Abdullaev.
It should be noted that Kulabdam and Lineker both failed their hydration tests for the upcoming event.
ONE Fight Night 27 goes down inside the legendary combat sports venue of Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Friday's event can be seen live and for free by North American and Canadian viewers with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
Will Kulabdam's Muay Thai experience be too much for John Lineker?
John Lineker started his Muay Thai journey in September 2024, securing a second-round knockout against Asa Ten Pow. A month later, 'Hands of Stone' returned and knocked out Alexey Balyko to continue building experience in "The Art of Eight Limbs."
Lineker has the power and overall fighting experience to continue finding success in Muay Thai. With that said, Kulabdam has a reason to be confident heading into ONE Fight Night 27, as Lineker's lack of Muay Thai fights could be a difference-maker in their upcoming fight.
Kulabdam is a former 2x Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai world champion. Furthermore, the 26-year-old holds a ONE Championship record of 8-5, including several fights against world-class competition.
'Left Meteorite' ended a two-fight skid in his last appearance in September 2024. The Thai striker knocked out Suablack Tor Pran49 in the third round for their ONE Friday Fights 81 bout. He now looks to make another statement against Lineker.
