Jarred Brooks always finds a way to train with the best fighters no matter the situation. The ONE interim strawweight MMA world champion recently revealed on Instagram that he once trained with Jonathan Di Bella when they were on the same card in December.
Brooks and Di Bella both had matches at ONE Fight Night 26, and the American star decided he would hit the pads with the former ONE strawweight kickboxing world champion in Bangkok.
'The Monkey God' was seen working with Di Bella's coach and father Angelo at the athletes' hotel during the card's fight week.
This brief moment immediately impressed Di Bella, who described Brooks' endless desire to learn from some of the best fighters on the planet.

"He's a fast learner, he's one of those crazy guys who wants to fight everybody in all sports. He just wants to be the best and he wants to learn from everybody," said Di Bella.
Despite being a natural grappler, Jarred Brooks often displayed his chops on the feet and showed no problems throwing down with some of the best strikers in ONE Championship.
Brooks had arguably his best work when he beat Joshua Pacio at ONE 164 to capture the ONE strawweight MMA world title for the first time in his career.
Pacio had a wushu base and was seen as the better striker against Brooks in their Manila matchup, but 'The Monkey God' stood with the Filipino star in one of the best matches of 2022.
Brooks, however, relinquished the strawweight MMA throne back to Pacio when he lost via disqualification in their world title rematch at ONE 166: Qatar in March 2024.
Nevertheless, Brooks and Pacio will square off for a trilogy bout for the undisputed ONE strawweight MMA world title at ONE 171: Qatar on Feb. 20 at Lusail Sports Arena.
Jarred Brooks promises unstoppable rampage in 2025
Jarred Brooks already has his mind set for a potential world title run in 2025.
The interim strawweight MMA king has a chance at sole possession of the throne when he takes on eternal rival Joshua Pacio for an emotionally charged trilogy bout for the undisputed ONE strawweight MMA world title.
In a previous Instagram post, Brooks promised a huge campaign especially after working on his already devastating arsenal.
"No one is safe moving forward, I know what I need to work on."
