Alibeg Rasulov acknowledged Christian Lee's "well-rounded" skillset. At ONE Fight Night 26, Rasulov looks to make history in only his second promotional appearance.

The undefeated Turkish fighter started with a unanimous decision win against Ok Rae Yoon and now looks to defeat two-division world champion Christian Lee for the latter's lightweight strap.

Rasulov showcased his world-class grappling against Ok, a former lightweight MMA title holder. With that said, the 32-year-old is aware he needs a versatile approach to defeat Lee, which he explained during an interview with ONE:

"He is a well-rounded fighter who can fight both standing and on the ground. He has good grappling. A good fighter."

Christian Lee will end a two-year layoff at ONE Fight Night 26. The two-division MMA world champion last fought in Nov. 2022 when he defeated Kiamrian Abbasov for his welterweight MMA strap. He now looks to pick up where he left off by taking out the undefeated Alibeg Rasulov.

ONE Fight Night 26 goes down inside the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Prime Video subscribers in North America can watch ONE Fight Night 26 live and for free as it happens in U.S. Primetime.

Alibeg Rasulov avoids another disaster on the scales

Alibeg Rasulov's ONE Championship debut against Ok Rae Yoon was supposed to be for the interim lightweight world title. Unfortunately, Rasulov missed weight for the ONE Fight Night 24 matchup, making him ineligible for gold.

Rasulov nearly faced disaster again after failing his hydration test for ONE Fight Night 26. Luckily, the undefeated Turkish lightweight accomplished the task on his second try, officially making him eligible for the world title.

Rasulov's undefeated professional MMA record of 14-0 has caught the fans' attention. With that said, the 32-year-old's accomplishments aren't much compared to Christian Lee's legendary promotional resume.

On Friday, Dec. 6, Rasulov has an opportunity to validate his world-class fighting skills drastically. With a win against Lee, the Gorets FT affiliate would have the attention of everyone in the lightweight MMA division.

As for Lee, the two-division world champion must prove he wasn't negatively affected by the extended layoff. 'The Warrior' has continuously claimed he's evolved since his last fight against Kiamrian Abbasov.
