Reigning UFC BMF champion Max Holloway successfully made weight in a bid to regain his UFC featherweight title at UFC 308 this weekend. 'Blessed', famous for cutting a tremendous amount of weight before fights, made the 145-pound limit right on the dot. Same can be said about the defending champion, Ilia Topuria.
ESPN MMA posted a photo comparison of Max Holloway's weigh-ins at UFC 300 (155 pounds) and UFC 308 (145 pounds):
Fans are reacting to the photo and footage in various ways, with @300stacks saying:

Former Max Holloway foe Dustin Poirier believes Ilia Topuria knocking out 'Blessed' is "almost impossible"
Max Holloway has only fought at lightweight six times in his career, twice in the UFC. The last time he fought at 155 pounds was at UFC 300, knocking out Justin Gaethje for the BMF title.
The first time he ventured into lightweight in the UFC was back in 2019, when he faced Dustin Poirier for the interim UFC lightweight belt. Holloway lost via unanimous decision in a Fight of the Night-winning contest.
In a guest appearance at The Bohnfire with Mike Bohn on YouTube, Poirier provided his thoughts on the upcoming feathweight title fight, particularly the champion Ilia Topuria's prediction of knocking out the challenger.
Poirier said:
''Anything could happen in this game but to go out there and one punch Max [Holloway], is going to be almost impossible, I think. It can happen, for sure. But I don’t think it will... This is a big test. If he goes in there and beats Max or lasts with Max in the volume game and outpoints him, outfights him technically on the feet – that’s going to say so much about Ilia and where he’s going to go.''
As for his prediction, 'The Diamond' leaned more on his former opponent, saying;
'I can’t pick against Max. I could see Topuria winning, but just Max, the experience and the championship fights he’s been in.”
