Paul Bamba's death has rocked the boxing world, with various public figures sharing their shock and disbelief over his untimely passing. Not only was Bamba just 35 years old, but his death occurred just six days after he became a boxing champion.
On Dec. 21, Bamba captured the WBA Gold cruiserweight title with a sixth-round knockout of Rogelio Medina Luna. After the win, he wasted no time in taking aim at popular influencer boxer Jake Paul, who is among the celebrities to take to X to react to news of Bamba's death.

Meanwhile, another influencer boxing star in KSI reacted to Bamba's death with an Instagram story that has since been shared on X.

With no cause of death yet revealed, many have been left wondering about the circumstances surrounding Bamba's death, especially as he had, just days ago, found WBA championship success to cap off a stunning year.

The late 35-year-old had competed in 22 professional fights, authoring an impressive 19-3 record. Perhaps more stunning was his knockout percentage, which sits at 94.74%. In short, Bamba knocked out 18 of the 19 foes he defeated during his run.
