Henry Cejudo is urging Zhang Weili to avenge her losses to Rose Namajunas after defeating Carla Esparza at UFC 281 to become a two-time strawweight champion.
On his YouTube channel, Cejudo explained why 'Magnum' should pursue a fight with Namajunas, who is coming off a championship loss to Esparza:
"I think the more dangerous fighter for Zhang Weili is Amanda Lemos. I think Amanda can crack 'cause she's explosive. But I think the better fight for Zhang Weili after this fight was maybe getting that trilogy with Rose Namjunas. I think she needs to get that one back, and I think for Rose being gone that long, I think it's only gonna help."
Regardless of who the champion decides to fight in her first title defense, Cejudo is urging her to take her legacy into account when evaluating her decision. But he believes the outcome will be the same:

"That's where you and your team are gonna have to decide what fight is more important for my legacy? Whether it's Amanda [Lemos] with the slick striking hands and she'll kick too - she's not gonna be a finish trap - or is it 'Thug Rose', who she's 0-2 against... I'd go Rose. The more dangerous fight I think is Amanda Lemos."
The reigning UFC strawweight champion spent some time training with 'Triple C' and has shown improvements in her takedown defense. Prior to regaining the strawweight championship, she defeated former champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk via knockout with a spinning back-fist.

Who will Zhang Weili fight next?
'Magnum' is in a unique position following her UFC strawweight championship win at UFC 281.
There are plenty of deserving contenders, but the idea of avenging two out of her three career losses could be too enticing to pass on. Former champion Rose Namajunas has defeated Zhang on two previous occasions. However, she lost the strawweight championship to Carla Esparza at UFC 274. The bout was not very well received, and 'Thug Rose' is yet to return to the octagon.
Amanda Lemos is another intriguing fight as she has been active in the division, riding a two-fight winning streak that includes a submission win against Michelle Waterson. Most recently, she earned a second-round TKO win against Marina Rodriguez.
