Henry Cejudo will look to return to winning ways against Song Yadong in the main event of UFC Seattle on Feb. 22. After the promotion recently announced the news, Cejudo gave his opponent an ominous four-word warning.
'Triple C' is the fourth fighter to simultaneously hold titles in two different weight classes. He is also the second combatant to defend titles in two different weight divisions.
After defending his bantamweight strap against Dominick Cruz at UFC 249 in 2020, Cejudo announced his retirement from the sport.
However, Cejudo returned to the octagon at UFC 288 against Aljamain Sterling in 2023. Unfortunately, he lost the bout via split decision. The former two-division champ squared off against Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 298 and lost by unanimous decision.

"Henry Cejudo and Song Yadong are set to headline a UFC Fight Night on Feb. 22 in Seattle, UFC Chief Business Officer Hunter Campbell told @mikecoppinger on Monday. Rob Font vs. Dominick Cruz will serve as the co-main event."
Cejudo warned the 27-year-old Chinese bantamweight, stating :
"Song YaDone fu*ked up 🥇"

"See you guys in Seattle"
Henry Cejudo’s coach teases his pupil's flyweight return
As per one of Henry Cejudo’s coaches, he is confident about 'Triple C' returning to the flyweight division. Cejudo vacated the flyweight title in 2019 and shifted his focus to bantamweight.
Cejudo's long-time coach Eric Albarracin who appeared on The Ariel Helwani Show revealed in 2024:
"I think I have a fighter that might go down to 125, you already know who he is... Triple C! He’s never left. He’s coming back to save the division once again. Hopefully, I would like to see him get one fight at 135lbs."
