Mayssa Bastos has fought every possible grappling archetype in her storied career. But, Danielle Kelly posed a different threat when they first squared off for ONE Championship gold.
The two BJJ superstars collided at ONE Fight Night 24, with Bastos snatching the ONE atomweight submission grappling world championship from Kelly in the August card in Bangkok.
A few days before they figure in their world title rematch at ONE Fight Night 26, Bastos said Kelly has a different kind of aggression once the opening bell rings.

Mayssa Bastos said in an interview with ONE Championship:
"Her jiu-jitsu is very aggressive and I think the titles she has won speak for themselves."
Bastos and Kelly figured in an almost exhausting matchup in August this year, and there were times when the Brazilian superstar had to fight from a defensive position due to the aggression she faced.
Kelly always displayed a relentless drive in securing dominant positions to access her submission holds, a trait she used to become the inaugural ONE atomweight submission grappling world champion.
That reign ultimately came to an end when Kelly met an equally powerful force in Bastos.
The nine-time IBJJF world champion was able to weather Kelly's storm in their ONE Fight Night 24 matchup and secured the unanimous decision win for the ONE atomweight submission grappling world title.
She now defends her gold against Kelly at ONE Fight Night 26 on Friday, US primetime, at the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.
Bastos and Kelly's world title rematch, and the entire ONE Fight Night 26 card, are available live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
