Jamahal Hill recently doubled down on the reason for his loss against Alex Pereira at UFC 300. Hill linked referee Herb Dean to his loss against Pereira yet again.

The UFC 300 headliner between Pereira and Hill started pretty evenly. Both the light heavyweights began the encounter with a kick-heavy approach. In the second minute of the fight, Hill also landed a strong right hand on Pereira after catching one of his kicks.

The fight stayed evenly poised till an awkward moment early in the fourth minute of the first round. Hill landed a kick on Pereira's groin area which had referee Herb Dean, intervening to call for a time-out.

However, 'Poatan' stopped Dean before calling the time-out with a hand signal, which had the fight resuming instantaneously. Pereira took just a few more seconds to end the fight. He closed in on Hill right after the fight resumed and landed a thunderous left hook flooring 'Sweet Dreams'.

Hill recently replied to an X update by @MMAUNCENSORED1 bashing the fans who derided him for presenting excuses after his UFC 300 loss. He also blamed Herb Dean's awkward timeout in the fight once more for his loss in his reply to another fan. Hill penned:

"Where? Herb's timeout allowed him [Pereira] to close the distance, that's what I said, which is clear in tape!! Then said “I should of [have] stayed locked in it, protect yourself at all times” so nice try since there are so many try another one cuz that’s one L"

Alex Pereira doesn't have problems in granting Jamahal Hill another chance but on one condition

Hill's presentation of reasons for his UFC 300 loss against Alex Pereira also earned him 'Poatan's' attention. The Brazilian also expressed that he doesn't have problems in accepting a rematch against him.

However, he also placed a condition that Hill will have to fulfill before he grants him another chance. Pereira penned:

"Calm down, my son [Hill]. Pass this test and Dad will give you a second chance."

The snap attached to Pereira's update clarified that he wanted Hill to get the better of his next rival, Jiri Prochazka, at UFC 311, before he accepts a rematch.
