Two-division world champion Reinier de Ridder feels Croatian sensation Roberto Soldic is up for a true test in his ONE Championship debut against Murad Ramazanov.
Though de Ridder is keen on watching Soldic fare against Ramazanov, he has a fight to take care of in the main event of ONE on Prime Video 5.
The Dutch superstar will defend his ONE light heavyweight world title against ONE interim heavyweight champion Anatoly Malykhin this Friday, December 2, at Mall of Asia Arena.

Reinier Ridder’s world title defense and the rest of the ONE on Prime Video 5 card broadcasts live and is free for fans in the United States and Canada with an Amazon Prime subscription.
In an interview with The MMA Superfan, de Ridder said that Ramazanov’s wrestling could pose a different threat to what Soldic was used to in KSW.
‘The Dutch Knight’ added that Soldic, who was a two-division KSW champion, was used to banging with people in Europe and rarely had to take on a fighter with a wrestling base:
“Yeah, it's an interesting one, because he's a good wrestler, Ramazanov. I think he fought on one of my cards a few years ago, and he, if I'm not mistaken. His wrestling is very good. And that might be a big problem.”
He added:
“Because in KSW, Roberto has mainly seen a lot of guys who want to bang with him. And now a guy who wants to be taking him down and smashing him might be difficult for him. So I'm very excited to see him. And Roberto, he only needs one or two punches, right to put them away. So it's an interesting one as well.”
Reinier de Ridder believes Soldic will have a tough fight against Ramazanov
Reinier de Ridder believes that Soldic’s first match in ONE Championship could be one of the most difficult debuts of anyone in the promotion. In the same interview with The MMA Superfan, de Ridder said:
“He has a tough task ahead of him. And they didn't give him any slack with his first fight.”
Ramazanov holds a perfect 11-0 record in his career and is 3-0 in ONE Championship. The Russian fighter’s last fight saw him take a unanimous decision win over former ONE welterweight world champion Zebaztian Kadestam.
Soldic, however, is one of the most dangerous knockout artists on the planet. Out of the 20 wins in his professional career, 17 have come via knockout.
