Israel Adesanya reveals his motivation ahead of title rematch against Alex Pereira at UFC 287
Having lost all previous encounters against Alex Pereira, Israel Adesanya is more motivated than ever to get his revenge.
The former middleweight champion will also look to avenge his first loss in the weight class. Speaking to the media this past weekend, 'The Last Stylebender' explained that winning on April 8 is all that matters to him, insisting that his past meetings with Pereira do not bother him:
“I’ve never not been motivated to fight this guy, but for this one I’ve put the pressure on myself. Like, f*** the belt, f*** everything else. I have to beat this guy, so that’s my motivation, just beating him. Like I said, they can say whatever they want, it’s 1-0 or 3-0, I don’t keep score, I settle them and I just need one and I’m going to get it done.”
