Conor McGregor has a total of nine tattoos on his body, with several iconic ones as well as some artwork that fans may not have noticed.
A man whose personality is bold and brash has tattoos to match his eccentric aura. However, considering how meticulously McGregor prepared for the majority of his combat sports career, it seems that little thought went into many of the Irishman's tattoos.
'The Notorious' stated in a past interview that he has no interest in the meaning of his tattoos, and enjoys the way tattoos look on his body.
Conor McGregor's least well-known tattoo is on the achilles tendon of his left leg. It features an Arabic phrase that 'The Notorious' got whilst drunk on holiday in Ayia Napa and was the Irishman's first ever tattoo.

McGregor has two religiously-themed tattoos on his back, a crucifix on the base of his neck and a thorned helix running down his spine.

McGregor dispelled any rumors that he was a religious man when he tweeted the following in 2015:
"F**k politics and f**k religion. I just want to swing a few lefts and a few rights for a couple of hundred mill in peace."
Conor McGregor's most iconic tattoo is undoubtedly the gorilla on his chest, which 'The Notorious' stated was to pay homage to his gym SBG Ireland during an appearance on The Tonight Show.

Dustin Poirier weighs in on Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler
Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler were recently announced as the coaches for the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter, and the pair are scheduled to lock horns at the conclusion of the show.
McGregor will be making his return to MMA after breaking his leg against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in 2021. Chandler's last fight was also a defeat to Poirier, and 'The Diamond' recently shared his thoughts on the matchup.
"If Conor comes back with the same timing and speed that he had before the injury, he's gonna stop Michael Chandler. Chandler's very hittable."
