Mike Perry squared off against Thiago Alves in the main event of BKFC KnuckleMania IV, which took place on Saturday at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. The event featured some of the promotion's top talents on a 12-fight bill.
In 2022, Perry faced Julian Lane in his BKFC debut and prevailed by a unanimous decision. He most recently defeated Eddie Alvarez, the former UFC lightweight champion, at BKFC 56 last December.
Meanwhile, Alves defeated Julian Lane in a split decision to make his BKFC debut. He faced off against Ulysses Diaz in his most recent bout at BKFC 12, knocking him out in the third round to capture the first middleweight title.

The bout didn't last long as 'Platinum' stopped his opponent in the first round to increase his perfect record to 5-0.

As the current face of the company, Perry defeated Alvarez to earn the biggest payoff of any KnuckleMania IV fighter, with a stated purse of $600,000. Instead of receiving show money and win money, all 24 competitors on the card received a flat price, with five of them taking home six-figure salaries.
