Surging UFC middleweight prospect Bo Nickal recently shared a hilarious take on the outcome if he was to step into the octagon against a chimpanzee.
Nickal is regarded as one of the greatest freestyle wrestlers alive today, having previously picked up the US Open national championship and the NCAA Division I title on three separate occasions. The 28-year-old then opted to make the switch to MMA in 2022.
After first picking up a debut win in Jorge Masvidal's iKon promotion, Nickal then appeared on Dana White's Contender Series, securing another two twins to earn himself a UFC contract. In the premium promotion, the American has won 3 fights, most recently submitting Cody Brundage in the second round at UFC 300.
While Bo Nickal is yet to secure his next fight, the middleweight contender recently took to social media and shared his take on what the outcome would be if he fought a chimpanzee. Nickal shared a picture of the animal on his Instagram story, which stated that despite having learned sign language, chimpanzees have never asked a question.

Nickal then added his own words, hilariously questioning how the chimpanzee would develop a fight strategy against him if it can't ask questions. He wrote:
"And y'all still think a chimp is beating me in a fight...How is he suppose to develop a strategy to win? What's his sytem? @coachbarryrobinson."
Bo Nickal reacts to Khamzat Chimaev's recent withdrawal from UFC Saudi Arabia
Bo Nickal recently offered his take on Khamzat Chimaev's withdrawal from his bout against Robert Whittaker at UFC Saudi Arabia.
'Borz' had been set to face 'The Reaper' in a middleweight title eliminator. However, just a week out from the bout, Chimaev withdrew due to an undisclosed illness.
Nickal, who has been vocal about his desire to face Chimaev in the past, then offered his take on the situation during a recent episode of his Nickals and Dimes podcast. According to the 28-year-old, he believes the Chechen-born Swede has infact been partying too much, rather than being too ill to fight. He said:
"Yeah, that dude is losing his aura a bit... He just needs to keep freaking winning and not doing this crap...He fought Usman. [He hasn't fought a real 185er] ever... He could [do something about his illness]. That's what I do. Don't get sick. I'm not in a hosptial so I can [wrestle], yeah, technically. I don't think he's overtraining. I think he's overpartying. I don't know, probably, I don't know. What else would it be? I've just heard rumors about him and [Darren] Till and stuff, like crazy stuff."
