British megastar Jonathan Haggerty reflected on how he won his first-ever ONE world championship in May 2019 against the iconic Sam-A Gaiyanghadao on his YouTube channel.
ONE shared snippets of it on Instagram, which can be viewed below, where 'The General' bared his doubts about challenging for the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world title so soon.
The Keddles Gym product stated:

"I had a 10% chance of winning that fight. I was going up against someone that I've watched since a young age. The legend hasn't been beaten in ONE, the champion. I sort of thought to myself like, 'Am I supposed to be here at this time in my career?' But, you know, I've got the best coach in the world. I've got the best team behind me. And they all believed in me."
The 27-year-old then added:
"Round one and two, I picked him apart. He couldn't get near me. Here's the knockdown. You know, that was a jumping knee and then out of nowhere, I just stuck a jab out there. It rocked him. This is the moment. See that there?"
Jonathan Haggerty then closed it out with him reminiscing on the big moment:
"It gives me goosebumps. My whole body went numb. I think it was after the fight where it all hit me. It was just like, 'I've actually done it.'"
