Tawanchai PK Saenchai is aware the fight game is unpredictable, but he knows that losing is never an option for anyone involved in the cutthroat industry.
The reigning ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion will defend his throne against fellow world champion Superbon for the second time in his career in the main event of the stacked ONE 170 card on Jan. 24 at Impact Arena.
In an interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Tawanchai refused to give his prediction for his impending super fight against the reigning ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion.
Tawanchai, though, admitted that there is pressure to retain his throne against one of the greatest strikers of this generation.

"I can't predict this fight. Because this is a fight between fighters of the same level, whose skills are on par. But I still don't want to lose. I absolutely can't lose."
Tawanchai first defended his throne against Superbon at ONE Friday Fights 46 in an absolute banger that lit up Bangkok in December 2023.
The world champions traded pure venom against each other and had the crowd inside the hallowed Lumpinee Stadium singing for every strike thrown.
The PK Saenchai product ultimately retained his throne via a majority decision win in one of his career's toughest world title defenses.
Tawanchai has since defended his featherweight Muay Thai throne one more time against old nemesis Jo Nattawut at ONE 167 in June 2024.
Superbon, meanwhile, racked up a unanimous decision win over Marat Grigorian in kickboxing at ONE Friday Fights 58 and a brutal one-shot knockout of Nattawut in Muay Thai at ONE Friday Fights 81.
Superbon believes he has Tawanchai all figured out ahead of world title super fight
No one has yet to solve the puzzle that is Tawanchai, but Superbon believes he finally has the perfect game plan to stop his fellow Thai superstar's reign as the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion.
In an interview with ONE Championship, Superbon said his first fight against Tawanchai gave him enough information to help him formulate his strategy for ONE 170:
"In the next fight, that's not gonna happen again. From the last fight, I've got it figured out. I'm gonna prepare for that. But we're not gonna tell you what we're gonna do. I figured it out every time, I'm that person who always works harder to be better."
