The event was privately held last month in Miami, Florida. In the headliner, Yoel Romero finished Power Slap star Duane Crespo in the first round.
Meanwhile, the current UFC heavyweight champion delivered a memorable performance against Stipe Miocic at UFC 309 to defend his title. Jones secured a knockout victory by landing a spinning back kick to the body.
It is likely that Jones will face Tom Aspinall next should he continue his fighting career.
Analyst discusses the disadvantage Jon Jones faces in potential fight against Tom Aspinall
Jon Jones has consistently dismissed a fight against reigning interim heavyweight champ Tom Aspinall, showing more interest in fighting Alex Pereira.
However, Dana White has assured that Jones will have to fight Aspinall next in a title unifier, and then he can fight anyone he wants. White has labeled the potential fight as the biggest in UFC history.
Speaking on TNT Sports, MMA analyst Nick Peet shared his thoughts on the potential fight between Jones and Aspinall, asserting that Jones’ striking has slowed down and that's where Aspinall could take advantage.
Peet said:
"Jon Jones against Stipe Miocic made me think that there's plenty of Jon Jones left to cause Tom Aspinall all kinds of trouble, but what I also saw was Jon Jones striking with his hands being a lot slower than he was at light heavyweight, and that's where Tom Aspinall takes over."
