Grappling wizard Mikey Musumeci knows that he still has a long way to go in his career to walk from greatness to greatness, and he's intending to keep on moving forward.

Regardless of his fame and stardom, the ONE flyweight submission grappling world champion is aiming to reach new heights as he grows older.

Next, Musumeci is challenging fellow ONE world champion Kade Ruotolo for the latter's bantamweight world title at ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6.

And ahead of that massive showdown, he shared how his physical condition may last him for years to come in an interview with Cageside Press:

"I think because my body's so healthy, because I never did steroids. My body's like, 20 years old. I'm 28 but my body's like, 19-20. I'm really young for my age. I went through puberty very late."

When asked how long he would be in the fight game, 'Darth Rigatoni' said:

"So, I have another 20 years in me, easy. Like, 20-15 years for sure."

Catch the epic battle between Mikey Musumeci and Kade Ruotolo inside the Ball Arena, Denver, live in U.S. primetime. Tickets are also available via Ticketmaster.

Mikey Musumeci wants to test the waters in MMA

Although Mikey Musumeci has yet to decide whether he would want to try out a new discipline of mixed martial arts, he does not see himself transitioning full-time there.

This fact was revealed last year in his Ask Me Anything (AMA) session in Reddit, where 'Darth Rigatoni' highlighted he would look into MMA and even Muay Thai, but he would be a BJJ fighter first.

Musumeci said:

"I have aspirations for MMA in the future. I did Muay Thai over seven years as a kid, but I would have to relearn a lot. I am 26 now so I have so many years to study and learn Muay Thai again. Definitely would love to do MMA, but only for a limited time so I don't get too much CTE hahaha."
