Newly crowned ONE interim strawweight MMA world champion 'The Monkey God' Jarred Brooks of the United States set himself up for a world title unification showdown with Filipino rival and reigning strawweight MMA king Joshua 'The Passion' Pacio.
Brooks made quick work of former Cuban Olympic wrestler Gustavo 'El Gladiador' Balart in the main event of ONE Fight Night 24: Brooks vs. Balart on Prime Video last weekend, winning by first-round rear-naked choke to capture the interim strawweight MMA crown.
Pacio, on the other hand, is currently recovering from a tear in his ACL and is out indefinitely. Nevertheless, Brooks knows their trilogy match is inevitable, and he wants to send a message to anyone listening.

'The Monkey God' told ONE Championship:
"People hate me because I constantly say that I'm better than Joshua Pacio but I am better than Joshua Pacio at the end of the day. I know that he's going to be waiting and trying to get better and trying to understand me and trying to get his wrestling better, trying to get his whole self better. I know he just had an ACL tear."
Brooks and Pacio will unify the ONE strawweight MMA world title in the future, and 'The Monkey God' can't wait to prove himself once more against the Filipino superstar.

'The Monkey God' Jarred Brooks can't wait to return to action again, and the next time, he says he will be even better.
