Former Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai world champion 'Left Meteorite' Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai narrowly escaped the jaws of defeat against former bantamweight MMA king 'Hands of Stone' John Lineker.
After suffering a knockdown early in round one, Kulabdam recollected himself and put on a striking clinic in the second and third rounds to take home a unanimous decision victory last weekend at ONE Fight Night 27: Tang vs. Abdullaev on Prime Video.
Speaking to the media in his post-fight interview backstage, Kulabdam said that he believed he deserved the hard-fought victory.

"Yes, I think I deserve this win, despite that I got knocked down in the last minute of the first round. Also in the second round and third rounds, I believe that I did better."

In Kulabdam's mind, he has never faced a puncher quite like 'Hands of Stone' John Lineker.
The hard-hitting Brazilian won two straight in 'the art of eight limbs' before running into Kulabdam last weekend at ONE Fight Night 27: Tang vs. Abdullaev on Prime Video.
Lineker knocked Kulabdam down in the first round after a furious attack that left the Thai fighter on the seat of his pants.
Afterward, 'Left Meteorite' described what it was like getting hit by 'Hands of Stone'.
The 26-year-old told ONE Championship:
"I have never faced any opponent that had such strong hands that got me knocked down. It felt like an electric shock."
