After claiming her first ONE world title, Denice Zamboanga is brimming with confidence.
Riding into ONE Fight Night 27 on a three-fight win streak, 'The Menace' delivered perhaps her most dominant performance yet, scoring a second-round TKO against the returning Aloyna Rassohyna to claim the interim ONE atomweight MMA world championship.
It was an undeniably impressive showing inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok and one that guarantees Zamboanga an opportunity to unify her interim title with the division's undisputed queen, Stamp Fairtex.

Speaking with the Bangkok Post, Zamboanga expressed confidence that she can not only walk away with a win against Stamp, but she can finish the Thai fan favorite when the two inevitably clash on martial arts' biggest global stage.
"I’m confident I can finish her, but whether it's a decision or whatever, I will get the belt," Zamboanga said.
Currently, Stamp is recovering from surgery to repair a torn meniscus she suffered last year — weeks before she was scheduled to defend her belt against Zamboanga at ONE 167.
Denice Zamboanga dreams of competing in the United States
No official details regarding Denice Zamboanga's next fight have been announced, but if 'The Menace' gets her wish, she'll have the chance to accomplish her lifelong dream of competing on U.S. soil.
"Of course, I'll be grateful to fight in the U.S. because I haven't been there," she said. "That will be amazing."
Currently, ONE Championship has two events scheduled for the United States in 2025. Stay tuned to onefc.com for more details on those events when they become available.
