"I can go against anybody" - Jarred Brooks confident his speed and power will hold up against the best fighters in the world 

Interim ONE strawweight MMA world champion Jarred Brooks says he's confident that he can take on the best fighters in the world as he moves up to another division in MMA.

The American superstar is always one for pushing the limits. Not too long ago, 'The Monkey God' pivoted into the BJJ world and grappled with one of the greatest jiu-jitsu practitioners this generation has seen in a super fight at ONE Fight Night 13.

Now, Brooks is game to compete at the highest level of competition by taking on No.4-ranked flyweight MMA contender Reece McLaren at ONE Fight Night 26: Lee vs. Rasulov.

This week, when 'The Monkey God' was asked by The MMA Superfan how he would fare against 'Lightning' or even some of the top guys at the 135-pound bracket as he begins his quest for two-belt glory, he confidently said:

"My speed can overlay anything. My power can overlay anything. And my muscles, the way that my muscles work, I can go against anybody."
