Panpayak Jitmuangnon opened up about his return fight earlier this year.
On Oct. 18, Panpayak ended a two-year layoff when he fought at ONE Friday Fights 83. The former seven-time Muay Thai world champion was matched up against Silviu Vitez, who entered the fight with a 1-4 promotional record.
Panpayak emerged victorious by unanimous decision but didn't showcase his world-class skills to the fullest. During the ONE Friday Fights 92 press conference, the 28-year-old hinted at ring rust potentially playing a factor:
"In that fight, it was not easy, but it was not hard. Looking back at it myself, I think I can improve where I am not good at, and I plan to keep doing the things that I am already good at."

Panpayak has fought in two sports under the ONE Championship banner, leading to promotional records of 3-2 in Muay Thai and 2-0 in kickboxing. The Thai superstar's losses were against Superlek in "The Art of Eight Limbs."
Before fighting Silviu Vitez, Panpayak's last appearance was in December 2022 at ONE 164. 'The Angel Warrior' suffered a split decision defeat against now-two-sport world champion Superlek, which he plans to avenge in the future.

Panpayak plans to continue building momentum at ONE Friday Fights 92
On Dec. 20, Panpayak looks for his second win in 2024. The former seven-time Muay Thai world champion has been scheduled for a flyweight bout against Egor Bikrev, who won his promotional debut by first-round knockout in November.
At 28 years old, Panpayak is on track to climb the ONE flyweight Muay Thai rankings and become a world champion, potentially avenging his losses against Superlek Kiatmoo9 in the process. Firstly, the Thai superstar is focused on securing a few wins and returning to prime form.
