"I feel this fight is going to be me showing all my skills. In ONE so far, I could show some of what I'm capable of, but I was never able to put my whole arsenal on display.

Maurice Abevi out to claim third straight victory at ONE 168
Maurice Abevi will enter ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6 packing momentum after winning his last two matches. He is out to sustain it with a third straight victory and further establish his footing in the lightweight MMA lane.
The Tiger Muay Thai gym affiliate opened his ONE journey with a defeat to Turkish opponent Halil Amir in April last year. But he has since turned things around with back-to-back victories.
His first win in ONE Championship came at the expense of American Blake Cooper in September 2023, winning by an impressive TKO in the opening round. He then followed it up with a decision victory back in May over Chinese fighter Zhang Lipeng.
Continued success is what Abevi seeks to have at ONE 168: Denver and to achieve that he has to go through Mamedov, an undefeated opponent stopper in the regional circuit in Eastern Europe before coming on board ONE Championship.
