Eddie Abasolo is focused on "knocking people out" after struggling to secure a win on the judge's scorecards.

Abasolo has fought four times since making his ONE Championship debut in November 2022, winning one and losing three. The American's promotional tenure has featured a knockout win against Niclas Larsen and decision defeats against Liam Nolan, Sitthichai, and Luke Lessei.

Abasolo's latest fight against Lessei in February was scored a split decision to the latter. The three-round contest between Americans featured back-and-forth action, but Abasolo believes he deserved to have his hand raised.

During an interview with 4oz to Freedom, Abasolo talked about his upcoming fight against Mohamed Younes Rabah. The 37-year-old had this to say about prioritizing a knockout to prevent the judge's scorecards:

"Since I ain't been getting the decisions, like my mission is to go out there and just, not recklessly of course, but knock everyone out whoever stands across from me. I got to make it clear. I can't leave it to the judges. I have to knock these people out."

Eddie Abasolo vs. Mohamed Younes Rabah will take place on November 8 at ONE 169. The upcoming event will take place inside the legendary sporting venue Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. American and Canadian viewers can watch for free with an Amazon Prime Video subscription.

Eddie Abasolo plans to put featherweight division back on notice

Eddie Abasolo's 1-3 promotional record is misleading, as the American featherweight has showcased the potential to make a run in the division. With that said, he needs an impressive performance at ONE 169 to silence the doubters.

Mohamed Younes Rabah has fought twice in ONE Championship, splitting a two-fight series against Saemapetch Fairtex, both first-round knockouts. Rabah now looks to start the next chapter of his promotional tenure by taking out Abasolo and further proving he's a legitimate threat in the featherweight division.

With a win against Rabah, Abasolo could set himself up for another important matchup, including a potential rematch against Luke Lessei. Firstly, he must focus on his upcoming battle that should produce fireworks at ONE 169.
