It's no secret that there's no love lost between Ian Garry and Michael 'Venom' Page ahead of their welterweight showdown at UFC 303 this weekend. However, the two shared a friendly moment recently after Garry introduced Page to his son, Leandro Vegas Machado Garry.

In the build-up to their fight, Garry and Page have been firing shots at each other on social media and in interviews. The two flashy strikers also recently flamed each other at the recent UFC 303 pre-fight press conference. However, they put their rivalry aside when Garry's son wanted to greet Page afterward.

In a video posted by @espnmma on X, Page could be seen sharing a warm moment with Garry and his son backstage. The Englishman even hugged the kid, and the two were all smiles during the interaction.

Given their attitude toward each other during the presser, fans were shocked to see them sharing a cordial moment. Many flocked to the post's comments section to express their thoughts.

One fan urged ESPN MMA to delete the post and wrote:

"Noooo delete this tweet so we can pretend like there’s beef and not them just selling the fight!"

Another fan wrote:

"Wait, I could’ve sworn they was beefing."

A user pointed out:

"Lol, he always has the baby."

Ian Garry questions Michael 'Venom' Page's skills as a fighter ahead of UFC 303

Ian Garry recently shared his thoughts on Michael 'Venom' Page and his skills as a fighter ahead of their UFC 303 clash. Garry dismissed Page as an elite fighter and stated that he wasn't good enough to conquer the UFC welterweight division. He also predicted that the Englishman could call it a career after their fight.

During an interview with Scott Fontana of New York Post Sports, Garry revealed that he wasn't interested in facing Page at all and only accepted the fight to compete on the same as Conor McGregor. He said:

"I have zero interest in fighting MVP. I had zero interest then. I have zero interest now. I did it to fight on the sae card as Conor [McGregor] and people give him hype. People give him, 'Ah, he's this, he's doing that.' He never won a world title at Bellator, and he's had two opportunities to do it, and now he's coming to the UFC, which is the greatest organization in fighting, and he thinks he's going to come into this division and do what? Win a world title?"
