British Muay Thai icon and former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title challenger 'Hitman' Liam Harrison of the United Kingdom believes a fight against two-sport king Jonathan Haggerty when he was younger would have been a route.

Harrison says 'The General' would have been no match for a prime 'Hitman'.

Speaking to the Sky Sports MMA Club in a recent interview, Harrison made a bold statement.

'Hitman' said:

"Going back to me fighting him, look at his fight with [Felipe] Lobo. They didn’t hurt him in the first round the way Lobo did. I punch two or three times as hard as Lobo, that’s fucked. I’m faster, I’m stronger, I’m more aggressive, and I’m more ferocious. If I had gotten Haggerty hurt in the first round like Lobo did, I’d body bagged him and he’d be gone."

Haggerty fought 'The Demolition Man' Lobo at ONE Fight Night 19 last February, and survived a knockdown to score a third round TKO victory over the Brazilian.

Meanwhile, Harrison has been out of commission since suffering a knee injury in a world title fight against legendary Thai athlete Nong-O Hama in 2022.

The fierce Englishman has not seen action for two years, but is now inching closer to his return.
