Though he may no longer be the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion, Jonathan Haggerty is still the reigning ONE bantamweight kickboxing king and he's more than ready to take on the division's toughest contenders.
Last year, 'The General' closed out his 2023 with a stellar second-round knockout of Fabricio Andrade to become a two-sport world titleholder.
Since then, Haggerty has surrendered his Muay Thai title to 'The Kicking Machine' Superlek Kiatmoo9, but he's still a world champion, meaning there is still a pretty big target on his back.

Appearing on the Winners Talking podcast, the Brit made it clear that after years of competing in the art of eight limbs, he's ready to further test himself against the best of the best in kickboxing.
"I've got the kickboxing belt, and that division hasn't fought for the title yet," Haggerty said. "I've sorta put it on hold a little bit. Cause obviously I've been fighting for the Muay Thai belt. There are few competitors coming up, they're great fighters, and I'd like to fight these guys."
Who should be first up for Jonathan Haggerty in the bantamweight kickboxing division?

Also on the shortlist for potential title challengers is Ilias Ennahachi, the former ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion. Sitting as the second-ranked contender in the division, Ennahachi also holds a victory over Akimoto and knows a thing or two about bringing home ONE Championship gold — doing it three times in five total fights under the ONE banner.
