Third-ranked ONE Championship flyweight Muay Thai contender Jacob Smith of the United Kingdom is getting ready for his highly anticipated rematch with divisional king 'The Iron Man' Rodtang Jitmuangnon next month.
But he can't help but comment on a potential banger of a fight between the Thai star and Japanese kickboxing icon 'The Natural Born Crusher' Takeru Segawa.
Rodtang and Takeru have been on a collision course since the latter joined the world's largest martial arts organization in early January. Fans have clamored for a showdown between the two global striking icons, and Smith for one wants to see it finally happen.
Speaking to Sportskeeda MMA in an exclusive interview, Smith shared his thoughts on the fight.

The 32-year-old Bad Company / Thaifist representative said:
"It’s a great fight. A very great fight. I’d never, never ever write Rodtang off. So yeah, it’ll be a 50/50 fight, mate."

Jacob Smith is planning something special for his upcoming foe, reigning flyweight Muay Thai king 'The Iron Man' Rodtang Jitmuangnon at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug on Prime Video.
The 32-year-old wants to give Rodtang a much different look than the one he gave the Thai fighter in their initial encounter back in May of 2022.
He told Sportskeeda MMA:
"I’m not going to tell you what I’m doing in my fight camp or what I have done in my fight camp to overcome Rodtang. You guys just gotta witness it in the fight."
