British Muay Thai legend and former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title challenger 'Hitman' Liam Harrison of the United Kingdom is less than two months away from his highly anticipated return to action, and the 38-year-old icon recently looked back at a turbulent recovery.
At one point, the fierce Englishman doubted he would ever be back in the ring, doing what he loves.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Harrison recalled what it was like trying to rehabilitate from what was a potential career-ending injury.

'Hitman' said:
"Both are good now [the knee and the hand]. Like I said, I'm back to full training. When I was supposed to fight [John] Lineker, I'd spar one day and the next day, I'd feel off. After that, I'd watch what I'd do in training and stuff, and I couldn't get a proper training session in."
Harrison injured his leg in a 2022 fight with then-champion Nong-O Hama. He had surgery in early 2023 and has since been in rehabilitation. Now, he's finally ready to make a comeback.
Harrison added:
"I'd have one good day and then two shit ones. I can't do a fight camp like that. I'm now back in a position where I'm doing everything I was before. I'm feeling good when I'm doing it. My hand's good, my knee's good. I'm feeling good."
