Superlek Kiatmoo9 can't wait to see Rodtang and Japanese kickboxing legend Takeru Segawa finally step inside the Circle against one another.

This Friday, June 28, 'The Kicking Machine' will return to the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok for a clash with fast-rising prospect Kongthoranee Sor Sommai at ONE Friday Fights 68.

It will be Superlek's first time competing since scoring a sensational unanimous decision win over Takeru at ONE 165 in Tokyo. Originally, 'The Natural Born Crusher' was scheduled to fight Rodtang until 'The Iron Man' was forced to pull out due to an injury, paving the way for Superlek to step in and go five-rounds with the former three-division K-1 champion.

Ahead of his clash with Kongthoranee, 'The Kicking Machine' was asked for his thoughts on the long-awaited clash between Rodtang and Takeru.

"It’ll be a very fun fight. If they fight wherever, I would be at that stadium," he told Sportskeeda MMA. "And I think they have very similar styles and it would be a really fun and exciting fight. I’d really love to see it."

Rodtang ready for his turn at Takeru after Superlek's success against the Japanese icon

Since having to withdraw from his previously scheduled scrap with Takeru, Rodtang returned to the Circle at ONE 167 for a catchweight kickboxing clash with 'The Bosnian Menace' Denis Puric. 'The Iron Man' came out on top, landing a unanimous decision victory.

It was a much-needed return to the win column for Rodtang after he saw his 12-fight Muay Thai streak snapped at the hands of Superlek in September.

Meanwhile, Takeru has been sidelined his his fight with 'The Kicking Machine' at the beginning of the year after suffering a brutal leg injury. With the 'Crusher' starting to look 100% via training footage released on his official Instagram, talks of a fight between himself and Rodtang are beginning to heat up once again.

Who do you think comes out on top when two of the greatest strikers on the planet meet on martial arts' biggest global stage?
