After capturing titles in both Muay Thai and kickboxing, Jonathan Haggerty plans on conquering yet another sport.
Following a successful run at flyweight that saw him win the division's Muay Thai title and go toe-to-toe with Rodtang in a pair of instant classics, 'The General' moved up to bantamweight and quickly established himself as one of the greatest strikers on the planet.
In back-to-back bouts, he KO'd both Nong-O Hama and Fabricio Andrade to win both the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing crowns, making him one of the few two-sport champions in promotional history.
But two titles aren't going to cut it. Haggerty has his sights set on a run in mixed martial arts, but to do so, he'll have to hone his ground game.

To do that, he already has a pretty good idea of where he needs to go.
"There’s been a few plans or talks about potentially transitioning to MMA or training elsewhere to complete my MMA game, like going to Dagestan or going to America, just to, you know, be ready,' Haggerty told Sky Sports MMA Club.
He added:
"So when it comes down to it, when I’m fully committed, I’d sit down and talk to my team about it and I’d see what the options are."
