“I definitely feel a lot of pressure” - Adrian Lee admits the weight of expectation is something he has to deal with

Although Adrian Lee has been practicing martial arts since he could speak, the young prodigy still feels pressure on his back, especially when he's heading into one of the biggest spectacles at ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6.

Indeed, Lee has walked the path of a martial artist like his older siblings, but he also constantly feels pressured every time he heads into a fight. However, he knows that he also continuously grow into a better MMA fighter each time.

And now, he feels ready to jump in and face a formidable foe in Nico Cornejo on the stacked ONE 168 card inside the Ball Arena, Denver, Colorado to prove his worth.

The 17-year-old shared what he felt to Cageside Press in a recent interview before this event goes on full force:

"I definitely feel a lot of pressure going into every fight. It's always going to be there, if anything, it's going to continue to grow."

But, Lee also knows that he has what it takes to play out his plan:

"However, I always focus on the game plan, you know. I just got to think about what I came here to do and do it."

And with that kind of confidence, it would be possible to see Adrian Lee raising his hands once more when the dust settled.

Adrian Lee aims for a finish over Nico Cornejo at ONE 168

In his next fight at ONE 168: Denver, Adrian Lee is aiming for a quick finish when he takes on a tough opponent in Nico Cornejo on Sept. 6.

There, the youngest of the famous Lee brothers said he will explore all avenues to make sure he reaches his goal and gets his hands raised.

Lee made his intentions known in a recent interview with ONE Championship, where he said:

"I plan on finishing it first round, either TKO, KO, or submission, whatever comes first."
