Kiamran Nabati is now laser focused to prepare for probably the toughest challenge in his career, Muay Thai legend Nong-O Hama.
Nonetheless, Nabati believes he earned the right to challenge such a big name in the striking world, especially given that he has made waves since the start of his budding career with the promotion.
The Russian dynamo will face the former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai king in a duel of titans inside the Lumpinee Stadium at ONE Friday Fights 81 on Friday, Sept. 27.

The 29-year-old told ONE Championship the reason why he wanted to take this fight with Nong-O:
“I deserve this fight because Nong-O is a big name. He has a very solid fan base. So now we’re going to make his fans love me. That’s going to happen soon, I think. Very soon.”
Nabati added:
“We’ll have to fight to the end, to the last drop of blood. And my job is clear – to step inside the ring and eliminate him.”
So far, Kiamrian Nabati has racked up a perfect 3-0 slate over Avatar PK Saenchai, Pongsiri PK Saenchai, and Suablack TorPran49 to earn himself a life-changing US$100,000 contract with the organization.
Nong-O can't wait to test Kiamran Nabati's resolve at ONE Friday Fights 81
As a legendary figure in the sports, Nong-O Hama has seen it all, including young contender like the Russian dynamo Kiamrian Nabati.
However, the No.3-ranked fighter has never taken anything for granted when it comes to any fights, and this next one will not be an exception.
Nong-O, who represents Evolve MMA, wants to return to the form which brought him the record-breaking number of title defenses in the promotion, and he wants to secure a win at all costs in the expense of Kiamran Nabati.
In an interview with South China Morning Post, he said this about Kiamran Nabati:
"I think Kiamran is great. He's a great fighter, and also his winning streak is pretty good. I view him as a challenge for myself because I also want a great winning streak as well."
