Freddie Haggerty knows that his big brother, ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion Jonathan Haggerty, has prepared well ahead of his main event tilt at ONE 168: Denver on September 6.

The young striker said that his older brother has no reasons or plans to give up his world title, and at the same time is determined to come out with a victory in his defense next month.

That match will be headlining ONE's return to the United States inside the Ball Arena in Denver, airing live and free in U.S. primetime to all Amazon Prime Video active subscribers in North America.

During an interview with ONE Championship, the undefeated Freddie Haggerty shared that Jonathan is not too worried about what's to come.

He said:

“I don’t think Jon will be too worried, though. He’s working on a great game plan to stop these kicks and elbows and have counters for everything. I think he’s going to absolutely smash it.”

Haggerty successfully retained his title for the first time earlier in February when he defeated Felipe Lobo via third-round TKO.

Freddie Haggerty receives full support from big brother Jonathan Haggerty in ONE

As Freddie Haggerty follows the footsteps of his older brother Jonathan, the two siblings are supporting each other throughout their journey in conquering their respective divisions.

The younger Haggerty has marked his entrance with two back-to-back victories within the organization, while the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing king rallied behind him in every step of the way.

'The General' told South China Morning Post in an interview:

"I'm so happy he's got what he's wanted, you know, for his whole life. He's grown up watching me get to the top and now is his time, you know? I'm very grateful I've been able to do what I've had to do to motivate him and push him."

And, it would be no surprise to see Freddie in his big brother's corner when Jonathan Haggerty faces Superlek at ONE 168: Denver.
