The magnitude of Jonathan Haggerty's historic win over Nong-O Hama caused a seismic shift in the landscape of Muay Thai, but even more so within the British superstar's inner circle.
In a career retrospect, which he posted on his YouTube channel, Haggerty revealed what went through his corner's celebration the moment he sent Nong-O to the shadow realm and claimed the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title at ONE Fight Night 9.
Haggerty, seen as a huge underdog in the match, knocked Nong-O down three times, and the final one sealed the Thai legend's fate at the hands of 'The General'.

Jonathan Haggerty said in the snippet that ONE Championship shared on Instagram:
"You know when that happened, and my dad comes up and grabs me, I pushed him away and I said 'I f****** told you, dad! I f****** told you I'd beat him.' To this day, I'll always remember that."
Haggerty's victory over Nong-O, however, was just the start of his unprecedented rise.
The former ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion secured his third ONE world title when he knocked out bantamweight MMA king Fabricio Andrade for the vacant ONE bantamweight kickboxing world title at ONE Fight Night 16.
Haggerty will now defend the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai throne for the second time in his impending super fight against flyweight kickboxing king Superlek Kiatmoo9.
The champion-versus-champion showdown goes down in the main event of ONE 168: Denver on September 6 at Ball Arena.
Tickets for the event are available at Ticketmaster.
Jonathan Haggerty basks under the pressure of his reign
It's undeniable that Jonathan Haggerty is the most wanted man in ONE Championship.
The holder of the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world titles, Haggerty knows challengers will come from all fronts.
Haggerty, however, is ready for whoever dares to challenge his golden reign.
He said in the mini-documentary that he shared on YouTube:
"I feel like people are trying to trash talk to get the fight, build up a fight, getting me to speak down. And that's how I feel. But at the end of the day, I get it, I've got what they want. And I go home, I sit back, and I look at the two ONE Championship belts."
