Fourth-ranked ONE atomweight MMA contender Alyona Rassohyna recognizes the importance of her upcoming ONE interim atomweight world title clash with Filipina MMA star Denice Zamboanga on Jan. 10 at ONE Fight Night 27.
Rassohyna and No.2-ranked Zamboanga will look to book an automatic shot against the undisputed divisional queen, Stamp Fairtex, in front of the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Before her battle with the number two-ranked contender, the 34-year-old Ukrainian caught up with ONE Championship for an interview and talked about the effect a championship triumph not just for her career but also for her team, as she proclaimed:
"For me, this is a new step in my career ladders, both as a fighter and as a coach, as I have a big team and I am the face of my team, so this achievement will be for my whole team, not just me."

The Yarost Gym representative recently revealed that she is unbothered by her opponent's strengths and weaknesses. Instead, she is solely focused on her skills to help her onto a career-defining win inside the Thai capital.
Alyona Rassohyna comes up with her fight plans on how she can impose her strengths and advantages against her opponents. She stated this during a recent interview ahead of her interim world title match by saying:
"I don't know her weaknesses, I know my strengths, I know my advantages and techniques that I can use to win both in the stand-up and the paterre [on the ground]. So, I pay attention to myself more than I pay attention to somebody else."
