Christian Lee believes he's reached a new form during his lengthy hiatus ahead of his highly anticipated return.
The reigning two-division MMA world champion spent nearly two years on the sideline mourning the tragic death of his younger sister Victoria, while also serving as the head coach of his younger brother Adrian.
That hiatus, though, is over and Lee will defend his ONE lightweight MMA world title against Alibeg Rasulov in the main event of ONE Fight Night 26 on Friday, US primetime, at the historic Lumpinee Stadium.
In an interview with ONE Championship, Lee said he never let up on his work and continued to improve in his game in preparation for his inevitable return.

Christian Lee said:
"I feel the most prepared that I've been before a fight in a long time. So I'm actually really looking forward to getting back in there."
Lee, who also holds the ONE welterweight MMA world title, was Adrian's head coach and main training partner for his first two fights in ONE Championship.
Working and training with Adrian gave Lee a new perspective on fighting since he was also helping develop his younger brother to reach greater heights in the promotion.
Now that he's back in the competitive fold, Lee wants nothing more than to retain his lightweight MMA gold against the undefeated Rasulov.
ONE Fight Night 26 is available live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
Christian Lee says he has Alibeg Rasulov all figured out
Christian Lee isn't just one of the most explosive fighters on the planet, he's also one of its most cerebral.
The double-champ said in the same interview with ONE Championship that he's already figured out what makes Alibeg Rasulov tick inside the cage.
Lee said:
"I'm expecting him to try to wrestle me for five rounds and mix it up with his strikes as well, so I don't think he's going to be coming in there just diving for the takedowns. I think he's going to want to mix it up and use his strikes to set up his takedown."
