Dutch-Surinamese champ-champ 'The Immortal' Regian Eersel successfully reclaimed his ONE lightweight kickboxing world title, dispatching opponent 'Barboza' Alexis Nicolas by the skin of his teeth last weekend at ONE Fight Night 25: Nicolas vs. Eersel II on Prime Video.
Eersel had lost his kickboxing gold to Nicolas a few months ago, but he returned the favor to his French adversary in similar fashion, as he took home a unanimous decision on the judges' scorecards when it was all said and done.
Afterward, Eersel said he was content with letting ONE Championship dictate his next assignment, as 'The Immortal' feels he had already cleaned out the division.

Addressing the media in the official ONE Fight Night 25 on Prime Video post-fight interviews backstage, Eersel said:
"I have no names to fight. I fought the whole division. So we will see who ONE brings for me."

Newly crowned ONE lightweight kickboxing world champion 'The Immortal' Regian Eersel says there's much more in store for fans as he embarks on his second reign in the division.
The 31-year-old Dutch-Surinamese star had a message for his fans in the post-fight interviews.
'The Immortal' said:
"Thank you for the support. Thank you for tuning in and for watching my fight. As I said, I'm here to create a beautiful performance. I hope you guys enjoyed it. Stay tuned. Follow me because there will be more to come."
