MMA superstar Jarred Brooks knows that he didn't go solo on his journey to the top of the martial arts world.
The former ONE strawweight MMA world champion, who's going to make another claim for the golden interim belt against Cuban wrestler Gustavo Balart at ONE Fight Night 24 on August 2, has a team to back him up in every step he makes.
Brooks even praised his coaches in a recent interview with South China Morning Post, where he revealed how his training camp works and what the coaches did for him along the way.

He explained:
"I keep a very small group. And Alex Hodie, he's one of the best jiu-jitsu practitioners in the world and one of the best coaches too. He understands the mixed martial arts aspect of American jiu-jitsu and how it goes into martial arts, period. So he's a great coach."
He further continued about what's important for him:
"I think it's more of my coaches and not the people that I'm working with. The mind is a lot more powerful than the bodies that you work with. So I have a lot of amazing coaches, and I have to give them all of the credit."
Jarred Brooks fully prepared to face Gustavo Balart
On another note, Jarred Brooks knows what he's heading into even though he had never faced Gustavo Balart before.
For Brooks, Balart is a complicated puzzle he needs to solve before securing another chance for a trilogy fight against his old rival and the ONE strawweight MMA king Joshua Pacio, and he's exceptionally ready for that.
This is evident by how 'The Monkey God' carries himself with so much confidence, knowing that he was almost flawless in his performances inside the world's largest martial arts organization. Thus, this barnburner interim title fight would be something that the fans cannot miss on August 2.
