Kwon Won Il is out for revenge when he makes his return to action in the biggest fights of his career to date.
The 29-yearold competitor has no problem admitting where he believes this next contest may be won or lost in his opinion.
At ONE 170 on Jan. 24 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, the No.3-ranked contender will face off with Fabricio Andrade in a rematch with the latter's ONE bantamweight MMA world championship on the line.
In their previous meeting at ONE 158 back in June of 2022, Kwon was stopped in the first round by the Brazilian contender, who continued his rapid ascension up the division.

During that winning streak, 'Wonder Boy' showed that is an elite striker with incredible speed, accuracy and finishing instinct.
Since then, the next title challenger has been able to bounce back with three consecutive wins and finishes over other bantamweight contenders.
Despite the run of knockouts that he has produced in order to earn a shot at the world championship, Kwon Won Il gives Andrade the advantage in the striking ranges.
In a recent interview with Anything Goes, he gave his former foe some praise before they run it back in 2025:
"I also have got to admit, he's a bit of a better striker than me. If you just talk about pure striking. You know, I have to give him that."

Kwon Won Il will need to take this advantage away from Fabricio Andrade
Considering these comments, it wouldn't be smart for Kwon Won Il to try to go head-to-head with Fabricio Andrade in a straight striking contest.
He will need to use his entire skill set in order to get his hand raised at the Impact Arena but that won't be easy against such a dangerous specialist.
Andrade knows that his opponents are in danger when they choose to strike with him so keeping the fight at his preferred range is nothing new to him.
