Mike Perry recently voiced his concerns about his future at BKFC, while blaming Conor McGregor. Perry stated that McGregor fired him and also gave his take on whether his own fighting endeavor was the reason for BKFC not scheduling his matchups.

In his previous bare-knuckle appearance at BKFC: Knuckle Mania 4, held on April 27 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, Perry faced Thiago Alves and secured an opening-round knockout victory. He was then medically suspended as a result of the injuries sustained in the fight.

However, since then, 'Platinum' has yet to make a BKFC appearance. In a recent episode of the Overdogs Podcast, Perry discussed his lack of activity, saying:

''I'm just like fine, sure like offer me somebody, tell me what's going on, tell me something. I guess Conor really did fire me, what the f*ck, where's my fight at?''

In response to co-host Ice Bagz's question on whether Perry's decision to launch Dirty Boxing is the reason BKFC isn't booking his next bout, the former UFC fighter said:

''[David] Feldman wished me luck, he wished us luck. He said, 'hey, I hope it goes well'. I don't think they are threatened by us, they are very high level in bare knuckle and I think they're just trying to find the right thing that they can't seem to quite make happen because they don't want to be the guy fighting me with no gloves on after I f**king lost that last fight with the gloves on. I'm f**king pissed and I want this sh*t.''

Conor McGregor discusses Mike Perry's next opponent

In his last combat sports appearance on July 20, Mike Perry faced Jake Paul in a boxing contest and suffered a sixth-round knockout defeat. The result prompted reactions from many including Conor McGregor, who claimed that Perry had been fired and expressed his annoyance at the BKFC star for his disappointing performance.

However, in a previous interview with The Schmo, McGregor discussed 'Platinum's' future and seemed prepared to give Perry another shot, saying:

''Mike [Perry] is fired, but we’re in negotiations. [Dave] ‘Redneck’ Mundell called him out. He’s been afraid of Mundell. We had to give him a little cherry-pick-made title, ‘The King of Violence’ or whatever you call it...he’s afraid of Dave ‘Redneck’ Mundell. He’s called him out now; let’s see what Perry responds.”
