Panpayak Jitmuangnon is ready to hit the ring once again, and he's coming in hot with lots of support from his peers. The Jitmuangnon gym representative has locked in a date with Silviu Vitez in a flyweight Muay Thai matchup at ONE Friday Fights 83 on Oct. 18.

As the former multi-time Lumpinee Stadium world champion returns to his hunting ground once again, the decorated Thai knows that he can be as good as his opponents think of him.

Although he has defeated four deadly opponents - Rui Botelho, Masahide Kudo, Daniel Puertas, and Savvas Michael, he also suffered a devastating defeat in ONE Championship, at the hands of Superlek Kiatmoo9.

In a recent interview with South China Morning Post, Panpayak spoke about Superlek and how he's eyeing a trilogy match to prove his worth.

But particularly, he has something to say about what Superlek thinks of him:

“I was happy that a world champion like Superlek said good things about me. He is not going to talk like that about many people.”

In the meantime, fans are eagerly waiting for his next appearance in ONE Friday Fights 83, where he's eyeing another victory to claim his world title clash against the one and only Superlek.

Silviu Vitez wants to spoil Panpayak's homecoming at ONE Friday Fights 83

Meanwhile, on the other side, Silviu Vitez has got something brewing on his own ahead of his clash with Panpayak Jitmuangnon on Oct. 18.

Wanting to prove himself as one of the best fighters among the top contenders in his division, Vitez aims to put on a show in the Mecca of Muay Thai, where the results may lead him to bigger opportunities within the promotion.

The 30-year-old is often regarded as one of Europe's best strikers, and he usually deploys a high-octane and aggressive style to make his opponent's life difficult.

And with that, the Romanian brawler knows that a victory against Panpayak will reset his trajectory into the right track.
