United Kingdom Muay Thai legend Liam Harrison signaled his retirement after suffering a TKO defeat to Thai icon Seksan Or Kwanmuang at ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6 inside the Ball Arena. However, 'Hitman' has since revealed that he felt as if it was an impulsive decision born out of his disappointment.
In a recent interview with the world's largest martial arts promotion, Harrison reflected on what happened and where he stands with it now:
"I think after ONE 168, I may have just spat my dummy out because I'd not fought for so long and my emotions were high. I was so looking forward to coming back, and it didn't go my way, so maybe I was too hard on myself."

Harrison's feelings about the matter are understandable as he places immense pressure on himself to find ways to bounce back from adversity and ultimately come away with a victory.
Losing to 'The Man Who Yields To No One' via TKO was one of the most stunning defeats in Harrison's illustrious career. However, the Bad Company product believes he still has one more left in him, which is why he is set to have an official retirement fight in ONE very soon.
Liam Harrison sheds light on when he will fight again under ONE
In a separate interview with ONE, Liam Harrison gave more insight into why he eventually decided to overturn his decision to retire and get into the circle one more time.
The 39-year-old said:
"Retirement was to be the plan, but they can't keep me away. So in March, I'm fighting in Manchester on Hitman Fight League for the WBC Diamond Belt. I'm a former WBC world champion. And then, I'll be back in ONE around the summertime."
