Although he admits that his loss was as close as any, Superbon believes he was the far more accurate fighter when he first challenged Tawanchai PK Saenchai for the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title.
Superbon first challenged Tawanchai for the gold at ONE Friday Fights 46 in an absolute barnburner that left more questions than answers. The two Thai superstars left it all on the line as the mental crowd inside the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok sang to every thrown punch, kick, elbow, and knee.
In an interview with ONE Championship, Superbon said he was landing with better accuracy during the fight despite Tawanchai connecting with the heavier counters. Although Superbon admitted defeat, he stressed that the world title could've gone to either of them after their slugfest.

"50-50 for me, I can't say that I won, I accept that I lost. But, I don't think I lost by much. I had more weapons, I hit the target more, but maybe he did more damage. It's hard to say," said Superbon.
Superbon has since bounced back from the defeat and claimed the ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world title when he beat old rival Marat Grigorian at ONE Friday Fights 58 in April.
The 34-year-old then secured his world title rematch against Tawanchai when he starched Jo Nattawut in the first round of their featherweight Muay Thai match at ONE Friday Fights 81 this September.
Superbon's second world title challenge against Tawanchai goes down at the stacked ONE 170 card on Jan. 24, 2025, at Impact Arena.
Superbon is proud of rapid growth his Bangkok gym went through in short time
Superbon proved that he is a champion outside the ring. The former ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion has invested his hard-earned money to establish his gym, the Superbon Training Camp, in the heart of Bangkok in 2023.
In less than a year, Superbon's gym became his second home and also a hub for both young fighters and established champions to train. Some ONE Championship athletes also train at the gym whenever the promotion has a fight card scheduled in Bangkok.
Superbon said in an interview with ONE Championship:
"I have a good team to help me, whether it's the trainers, back-office staff, or the team that makes videos for people to watch and attract them to come and learn at my gym. Right now, I just sit and watch. And I mainly train for myself because I have a good team."
